Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when creating an account — including name, email address, school affiliation, and volunteer hour records — as well as automatically collected usage data such as IP address, browser type, and session timestamps. We do not collect payment data, Social Security numbers, or biometric data.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate the platform, process volunteer hour submissions, communicate account status, and comply with COPPA, FERPA, CCPA, and other applicable law. We do not use student data for advertising or to train AI models.
Children's Privacy (COPPA)
ImpactLynk is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent through a school-managed enrollment process.
Student Education Records (FERPA)
Volunteer hour records may constitute education records under FERPA. ImpactLynk acts as a technology service provider on behalf of educational institutions and uses student records only for the purposes described in this policy and in our Data Processing Agreement.
California Residents — CCPA / CPRA Rights
California residents have the right to know, delete, correct, and port their personal information, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. ImpactLynk does not sell personal information. Contact privacy@impactlynk.com to exercise your rights.
